Notes

Can you have a food truck at a Tuscan villa wedding?

Usually yes. Here is what the venue actually needs to agree to.

Pizza food truck serving guests in the grounds of a Tuscan villa

Short answer: yes, at most villas. What decides it is vehicle access, a level place to stand, and the venue's rules on flames — and our oven runs on gas, not wood, which resolves the last one in most cases.

What the truck needs

  • A drivable route to the serving area — the delivery access is usually right
  • A level place to park and work
  • Room around the truck so guests collect food away from the working side

What to ask your villa

  • Is external catering permitted?
  • Where can a catering vehicle park and stand?
  • Are there restrictions on open flames? Our oven is gas-fired
  • Is there a curfew on noise or service times?
  • Who supplies tables and chairs, since we do not

If access is tight

Send us photographs of the drive and the intended spot. It is a five-minute conversation months in advance and an expensive problem on the day.

Cost

From €2,250 for up to 30 guests to €5,850 for 100 guests with beverages and antipasti. Transport anywhere in Tuscany and VAT are included; a remote villa costs the same as a close one.
