A destination wedding in Tuscany is rarely one meal. Guests fly in for three or four days, and the formal dinner is only one of them. Planning the informal nights properly is what people remember.
Day one — the welcome dinner
Guests arrive at different hours, jet-lagged, and nobody wants a seated five-course meal. A pizza service works because it runs for three hours, people eat when they arrive, and nothing goes cold waiting for late flights.
Day two — the rehearsal dinner
Smaller and more relaxed than the wedding itself. The same three-hour service suits it, and the group of thirty or fewer sits in our lowest price band.
Day three — the wedding, and midnight
The reception caterer handles dinner. Late-night pizza is a separate decision, usually made once couples realise the dancing runs past midnight and dinner finished at nine.
Day four — the day after
Everyone is still there, nobody has organised anything, and someone has to feed forty people by the pool. This is the easiest night we do.
What it costs
Prices are by guest band, VAT and transport included: from €2,250 for up to 30 guests on Pizza Only, to €5,850 for 100 guests with beverages and antipasti. Service is 3 hours, pizza is unlimited and guests choose from 4 types.
