Notes

Your venue said no open flames. Ours runs on gas.

The rule that stops most pizza trucks does not stop this one.

Gas-fired mobile pizza oven in operation at a Tuscan wedding venue

Tuscany in summer is dry. Estates surrounded by vines, olives and standing grass often ban wood fires outright, and a wood-fired truck is turned away at the gate or refused at the contract stage.

Our oven is gas

Not wood. It reaches the temperature Neapolitan pizza needs and it does not put embers into the air. When a venue asks what our oven runs on, gas is the answer that ends the conversation quickly.

What to send your venue

  • The oven is gas-fired, mounted inside the truck
  • The service lasts three hours
  • We need a level place the truck can reach and stand on
  • We remove everything we bring when we leave
  • Tables and chairs are not ours — the venue or rental supplier provides them

If the venue still hesitates

Ask them to tell us directly what the restriction is. It is usually a specific rule about a specific area of the property, and there is usually another spot that works.
