Late night wedding food: pizza at midnight in Tuscany

Nobody remembers the canapés. They remember what was served at midnight.

Pizza being served late in the evening at a Tuscan wedding

There is a point in every wedding, usually around midnight, when the dinner has worn off and the bar has not. People start drifting away, not because they are tired but because they are hungry. Late night food is what keeps the party where you want it.

Why pizza works at that hour

  • It is eaten standing, with one hand, without cutlery
  • It arrives continuously rather than in one service
  • Unlimited across the 3 hours, so nobody has to be first in line
  • Vegetarian and gluten-free guests are not left out at midnight
  • It photographs well, which the photographer will thank you for

How we time it

You choose when service starts, and it runs for three hours from that moment. We arrive earlier to set up and bring the oven up to temperature, so the first pizza is ready the minute you want it.

Venue rules at night

The oven is gas-fired and enclosed inside the truck, which matters at venues that do not permit wood or open flame outdoors. We need a flat parking spot with a drivable route to it, and we clear our own equipment away afterwards.

What it costs

For late-night pizza most couples take pizza only, since the drinks are already running: from €2,250 for up to 30 guests, €3,250 for up to 100, VAT and transport included. All bands are on the prices page.
