Notes

When to serve pizza during a Tuscan wedding day

Three hours is a long time. Where you put them changes the whole evening.

Evening pizza service during a wedding celebration in Tuscany

The service is three hours wherever you place it. The question is which three hours.

The night before, from around 19:00

Guests are still arriving. Starting early and running into the evening means late arrivals eat properly instead of raiding a fruit bowl at eleven.

Late night, from around 23:00

The reception dinner ended hours ago and the dancing has burned through it. Pizza appearing at this point keeps people at the party rather than drifting to bed. It is the service guests describe afterwards.

The day after, from around 13:00

Everyone is still at the villa, nobody wants to drive, and nobody wants to organise anything. A daytime service usually involves a smaller group, which the up-to-30 band covers.

What not to do

Do not place the service directly against the venue's own dinner. Two full meals an hour apart means guests pick at both. Give the evening room.

Prices, whichever slot you choose

From €2,250 for up to 30 guests to €5,850 for 100 guests with beverages and antipasti. VAT and transport included in every band. Tables and chairs are not included.
