Pizza party in Tuscany — your questions

Everything couples ask us before booking.

Booking and prices

How much does it cost?
All our prices are published on this site — you don't have to ask. They start at €2,250 for up to 30 guests, VAT included. When you write to us it isn't to find out the price: it's to find out whether your date is still free.
Why do you publish your prices when almost nobody else does?
Because planning a wedding from another country without knowing what anything costs is exhausting. And because somebody who wants to take advantage of you doesn't start by telling you the price.
How can I trust you when I'm booking from the other side of the world?
We are not just a contact form. We are a pizzeria with a door and an address: Viale Sardegna 37, Siena. The oven is lit most evenings and anyone can walk in.
How do we hold the date?
With a percentage deposit, and the amount is written on your quote. From that moment the date is yours.
Is VAT included?
Yes. All prices include VAT — the price you see is the price you pay.

What's included

How much pizza do guests get?
As much as they want. Pizza is unlimited for all three hours of service — we keep firing until the service ends.
What does the price include?
The food truck with its gas oven, transport, three hours of service, four types of pizza for your guests to choose from, authentic Neapolitan dough (T.O.P.N.) with 24-hour maturation, our team, setup and clean-up.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
No. We bring the truck, the oven, the dough and the pizzaiolo. Tables and chairs are the venue's job — worth checking with them early, so nobody discovers it the day before.
Can we choose which pizzas?
Yes. We agree four types with you before the event.
Do you cater for vegetarian and gluten-free guests?
Yes. Tell us the numbers in advance so we can prepare properly.

On the day

What time do you arrive?
Well before your guests. We park, set up and light the oven while everyone is still getting ready — by the time the first guest turns round, it is all done.
Is the oven wood-fired?
No, it runs on gas. No wood, no smoke, no sparks on the lawn — which is also why venues that ban open flames let us in.
What happens if it rains?
We work it out with you and your planner, based on the venue and what the forecast is doing. Tell us where you are getting married when you first write, so we talk about it well in advance and not on the morning.
What do you need from the venue?
Room to park and work from the truck, an access route the truck can drive down, and reasonably level ground. Tell us the venue when you get in touch and we will check it with you before you book.

Where we go, and how many

Where do you travel?
All over Tuscany: Siena, Chianti, Val d'Orcia, Montalcino, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, the Crete Senesi, Florence, Arezzo, Lucca, Pisa, Grosseto, the Maremma and Val di Chiana. Transport is always included in the price.
Can you cater for more than 100 guests?
Yes. Our published bands go up to 100; above that we quote for your event specifically. Tell us how many you are.
